I can relate too that. I was and still am at times into the law of attraction. For me I had to use it to get as happy as I could in the universe..........and still realize something was missing.....that's when DU landed in my lap. Even now I wouldn't mind the illusion being a great illusion until I leave or uncover enough peace to not care LOL

Exactly my experience!
The LoA does work to some extent. Adyashanti says he uses it mainly to get good parking spaces...
